Okay, I figured I'd write an entry because I just wrote two long, babbling comments to Emily on livejournal. That and I don't want to do the reading for tomorrow on Iran...
Hmm, where to start.
Well I have about a week and a half of school left and then I'm on summer vacation. I really can't wait to not have to do school work, but I really don't want to go home. It's not that I don't enjoy home, I just don't feel like I have any freedom there. That and I finally feel like I've made some friends here. I won't see them next year either because I'm changing buildings so that I can be an RA. I know I'll have fun next year, but I've just had a lot of fun in this building.
I guess a lot of the fun has been that I've gotten drunk once every weekend since Easter. In fact, I skipped Easter to come back and party, not that I told my parents that. And they shouldn't find out, right Courtney...lol. This past weekend was an experience too. We partied pretty loudly, and it was a night of firsts. And not all of them were good. We broke a futon, which was funny. But my friend also got sick...on me. It wasn't that big of a deal, and he felt really bad, but it was his first time drinking I wasn't to upset. But he felt really bad, so yesterday he came to my door with a vase full of flowers. I'm gorgous flowers. There are lilys, daisies, tulips, and some other flowers that I don't know the name of. They are so pretty and they smell so nice. He really didn't have to give them to me. I told him not to worry about it, it happens to everyone. I'm still so excited about them though. I haven't gotten flowers from a boy since middle school. Not even my dad gives me flowers. The only downside is that I was having an allergy attack when he gave them to me, and they didn't help. I feel much better today though and my room smells really really good.
It makes me not want to leave Oswego more. Granted a lot of my friends live close to the capital region, but some live far away, like Nick (flower boy) he lives in Attica, and Jess lives up by Watertown. Why does gas have to be so expensive!!!
Well I guess I should go read for my Comparative Politics class tomorrow. It will put me to sleep, which will be nice. See you when I return from Ireland on May 28th!
Lots of love,
Eileen
